Winter Reading Program – January 14-March 15, 2019
This is the Library’s theme for the Winter Reading Program is Movie vs Book. This was so popular last year so we decided to bring it back again in 2019! Read a book that has been made into a movie, watch a movie that is based on a book, or do both! Selections must be read/watched between Jan. 14-Mar. 15, and can be read and/or watched individually or as a family. There are forms to complete after each is finished; just turn into a librarian at the Kindred Public Library to be eligible for a prize drawing.
Trick or Treat at the Library – October 31
Add the Kindred Public Library to your stops on Halloween. The light will be on from 5:30-7:30!
Tour of Homes – November
The Library’s annual Tour of Homes fund raiser features area homes (both in town and rural) and is usually held the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Typically, tickets are purchased in advance or at the Library on the day of the Tour. Coffee, cider and treats are available to enjoy while you check out the display of baskets featured on the Basket Raffle. This is a great afternoon outing for friends, families, and/or couples. Contact the Library with questions or if you would like your home on the 2019 Tour.
