Wondering the ways you can support the Library?

  • Donate monetarily … Monetary donations help with funding of library services and events. Checks written to Friends of the Kindred Public Library can be mailed to PO Box 63, Kindred ND 58051; dropped off at 330 Elm Street, Kindred; or donated online using VENMO. See Material and Financial Donation Policy for guidelines. Friends of the Kindred Public Library is a 501(c)3; donations are tax deductible.
  • Donate materials … Current requests include a bookshelf, office and cleaning supplies, baskets for Tour of Homes fundraiser. See Material and Financial Donation Policy for guidelines.
  • Volunteer at the Library’s front desk … Do you have computer experience, an enjoyment for reading, and basic knowledge of library services? Call to schedule training.
  • Volunteer for special events or programs … Assist  with fund-raising events, children’s Story Time, building maintenance, programming events.
  • Participate … Patrons and visitors are encouraged to participate in events sponsored by the Library. This includes children’s Story Time and StoryWalk, adult book discussion, reading programs, theater experiences (in cooperation with Kindred Area Arts Partnership). Contact the Library for all available options.
  • Become a Library Patron … Simply complete a patron application so you can check out materials within the Library. Library patrons also have access to online materials through the Libby app.
