The Friends of the Kindred Public Library is a nonprofit 503(c)(3) organization.

The Friends organization provides library staffing, event planning, maintenance and fund-raising opportunities for the Library. All volunteers are considered to be part of “Friends”. However, you can also be a Friend without being a volunteer. Friends of the Library are encouraged to help with coordination and/or assistance of various activities throughout the calendar year. Events may include Festival of Tables, Reading Programs, Children’s Theater, Breakfast with a Book, Halloween at the Library, Tour of Homes/Basket Raffle, Dr. Seuss Birthday, and more.

Meetings for the Friends of the Kindred Public Library are held at the Library and are open to the public. Meeting dates for 2020 are posted at Kindred City Hall Meeting and at the Library. Friends Minutes are available on this website and also posted at the Library.
