The Kindred Public Library is governed by a Board of Trustees.

This governing board consists of Kindred city residents, each position elected for a three-year term. A city council member who serves a one-year term. A City Council Rep is appointed by the Kindred City Council to serve as a liaison between the Trustees and the City.

2024-25 Trustee meetings:
Trustees typically meet the second Monday of each month in the Library, starting at 7:00 p.m. Date changes may occur due to schedule conflicts and/or inclement weather; these will be noted on the Library’s Facebook page.

Meetings are open to the general public.
